All About Me
I am biracial (Mexican and United States) and grew up in a multiracial, multigenerational home, in Dallas, TX. Currently, I live in South Texas with my husband, my stepson, our 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2001 with a master’s degree in Family Therapy. Since then, I have worked in a multitude of treatment settings from county mental health crisis services to private practice. The majority of my work has been helping people cope with life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have a passion for working with women's issues and those with chronic illness.
My practice is BIPOC friendly, LGBTQIA friendly, and gender affirming.

I was recently featured on the Dallas news discussing the effects of mass shootings on mental health.
