All About Me
I am Latina and grew up in a multiracial, multigenerational home, in Dallas, TX. I am first generation, American born on my father’s side, and the first person on both sides of my family to complete a graduate degree. Currently, I live with my life partner, his son, our 3 dogs, and 3 cats.
I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2001 with a master’s degree in Family Therapy. Since then, I have worked in a multitude of treatment settings from county mental health crisis services to private practice. The majority of my work has been helping people cope with life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have a passion for working with perinatal mental health and those with chronic illness.
My practice is BIPOC friendly, LGBTQIA friendly, and gender affirming.

I was recently featured on the Dallas news discussing the effects of the mass shootings on our mental health.
